Occupational Therapist Peds Apply
- Job Title: Occupational Therapist 1 (Pediatric)
- Role: Plan, organize and provide professional therapeutic services to patients
- Clinical practice includes evaluation and occupational therapy treatment planning for the rehabilitation of mental, physical or emotional disabilities
- Work closely with patients and families to establish and meet treatment goals
- Evaluate, treat, and monitor patients, modifying therapy programs and goals as needed
- Perform thorough and concise clinical documentation in a timely manner
- Communicate effectively with patients, families, department coworkers, and medical care team
- Supervise ancillary staff, students, and volunteers
- Continually advance clinical skills through ongoing education, literature review, and implementation of evidence-based practice
- Adhere to organizational, national, and state regulatory guidelines
- Align personal goals and work activities with system goals
- Possess problem-solving skills, good communication skills, and leadership skills
- Have proficient computer knowledge and ability to operate multiple computer systems and standard Rehabilitation equipment
- High attention to detail in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
- Ability to multitask effectively while maintaining a high level of productivity

- Qualifications: Bachelors plus 2 years of work experience or Masters' degree, less than 1 year of experience, Occupational Therapist (OT) certification, Basic Life Support (BLS) certification or ability to obtain within 30 days of hire or transfer.
