OCI Architect Apply
| Job Description: Responsible for maintaining autonomous databases and Oracle Cloud Infrastructure services with deep focus on network architecture, production operations, capacity planning, performance management, deployment, and release management. And will work with multiple cross-functional teams helping deliver new and outstanding experiences to our stakeholders while ensuring reliability and performance.
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure: · Experience on complete OCI Administration on strong understanding of Tenancy , VCN, Compartments, Network Layers, handling firewalls, subnet, storage options, FSS, Block Volume, Object storage. · OCI infra-administration (Install, configure, migrations, tuning, patching, administration & monitoring). · Hands on experience in writing and modifying API scripts for application deployments on OCI and for managing OCI Infrastructure. · Hands on experience performance tuning, hardware upgrades, and resource optimization as required. · Configure CPU, memory, and disk partitions as required and ensure high availability of infrastructure. · Experience in Application of OS patches and upgrades on a regular basis and upgrade administrative tools and utilities. · Configure/add new services as necessary. · Experience on Handling OS related or Application related security vulnerabilities is an added advantage. · Exposure to using code repositories like GIT. · Hands on Experience with provisioning storage, compute nodes, network. and understanding requirements for the same. · Experience in Handling Certificate renewals on OCI. · Understanding and hands on experience of HA architecture in an OCI environment. · Strong understanding of HA concepts in DR and setting up on Infrastructure for DR Site. · Experience with IaaS solutions: virtual machines/networks, on-premise/hybrid cloud computing, cloud identity, security models, cloud monitoring, logging, local and cloud storage. · Should be well versed with ITIL based service delivery for Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management,Configuration Management. · Effective collaboration with infrastructure teams, application development teams, testing and release teams.
· Take ownership of the implementation and production operations of a wide array of core system platform solutions. · React to production deficiencies by continuously implementing automation, self-healing, and real-time monitoring to production systems. · Be a strong contributor to development of platform services including architecture, provisioning, configuration, deployment, and support. · Partner with the distributed team in prototyping new database platform services. · Stay informed of cloud infrastructure stacks. · Knowledge of database backup procedures, recovery systems, and SQL. · Provide database-related support and training to technology teams, production teams, and end-users. · Create backup and recovery plans and procedures based on industry best practices, including testing to ensure recovery is successful. · Create, implement, and maintain Oracle database systems logging and performance monitoring solutions/services. · Own and maintain all Oracle security requirements. |
