Office and Marketing Assistant
Salary Range ($15.00-$18.00 based on experience)
Duties and Responsibilities Required
- Answer phone calls.
- Take and deliver phone messages.
- Ensure the office runs smoothly and is kept tidy.
- Administrative duties as assigned.
- Assisting with the setup, facilitation, and completion of events each month, depending on what is scheduled.
- Post event information on different platforms to promote the events. Respond to comments, post & tag photos from events.
- Overseeing the design and graphics of marketing materials for all events. Constantly updating the designs with new sponsors and ensuring the information is disseminated.
- Conducting market research to understand better the marketing needs of the organization and its target audience and providing reports for each campaign to analyze their success.
- Conduct attendee feedback surveys to find out areas of success and those needing improvement.
- Ensure sponsors are satisfied with the graphics and they receive all the benefits offered to them.
- Keeping an inventory of office supplies and ordering new materials as needed
- Welcoming visitors to the chamber. Tell them about local activities and attractions. Have them sign the guest book.
Skills and Qualifications
Communication: Strong written and verbal communication skills are important in the Marketing Assistant role. They regularly need to collaborate with team members, vendors, and other company employees to understand the needs of the event marketing.
Creativity: The Marketing Assistant creates visually appealing images and marketing materials, ensuring events have maximum appeal.
Analytical: Researching and reporting marketing campaign results is a must. Analytical skills enable the Marketing Assistant to compile data and present it in an easy-to-understand format to the CEO.
Project management: Marketing Assistants are involved with multiple projects at one time. The ability to organize details and complete projects in a timely manner is crucial in this position.

Education and Training Requirements
High School Diploma or GED Required
Associate degree from related industries is preferred.
Proficient in Microsoft Office
Driver License
