Office Coordinator Scheduler Apply
A Supervisor/Coordinator is needed to function in the Home Care Agency as a front coordinator.
- Coordination of the functions of the agency, scheduling, some recruiting and assisting with compliance intervention for the filed staff.
- Coordination: Coordinate and oversee the activities of Home-care workers and caregivers to ensure the delivery of high-quality care to clients.
- Client Assessment: Assess the needs of clients through initial assessments or regular reassessments to determine appropriate care plans and services.
- Care Planning: Collaborate with clients, their families, and healthcare professionals to develop individualized care plans that address the specific needs and preferences of clients.
- Staff Management: Recruit, train, and supervise Home-care staff, including conducting performance evaluations, providing feedback, and addressing any performance or disciplinary issues.
- Scheduling and Assignments: Create and manage schedules for Home-care workers, ensuring appropriate coverage for all clients, and assigning staff members based on their skills and client needs.
- Quality Assurance: Monitor and evaluate the quality of care provided by Home-care workers, ensuring compliance with regulations, policies, and best practices.
- Client Communication: Maintain regular communication with clients and their families to address any concerns or changes in care needs and provide updates on the care provided.
- Documentation and Reporting: Ensure accurate and timely completion of client documentation, including care plans, progress notes, incident reports, and other required records.
- Collaboration: Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, such as nurses and Aides to ensure coordinated and comprehensive care for clients.
- Continuous Improvement: Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory changes to improve the quality and efficiency of Home-care services.
Qualifications:
- Education: A bachelor's degree OR Equivalent in a related field, such as healthcare administration.
- Organizational Skills: Strong organizational and time management skills to effectively manage schedules, assignments, and documentation.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills to address client issues, staff conflicts, and other challenges that may arise.
- Computer Skills: Proficiency in using computer software and electronic health records (EHR) systems for documentation and scheduling purposes.
- Leadership Abilities: Ability to lead and motivate a team of Home-care workers, providing guidance and support as needed.
