What You'll Do
Day-to-Day Responsibilities
- Manage and service an existing book of personal lines clients, including auto, home, umbrella, and related products
- Respond to client inquiries, policy changes, billing questions, and claims guidance in a timely and professional manner
- Conduct policy reviews and proactively identify coverage gaps or opportunities to better protect clients
- Prepare and present competitive quotes for new and renewal business using agency management and rating systems
- Process policy endorsements, cancellations, and renewals accurately and efficiently
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients to drive retention and referrals
- Collaborate with producers and senior account managers to support agency growth goals
- Maintain accurate client records and documentation within the agency management system
Who You Are
Required
- Genuine interest in insurance and a desire to build a career in the industry
- Strong communication skills — comfortable on the phone, via email, and face-to-face
- Detail-oriented with solid organizational habits and follow-through
- Customer-first mindset with a natural aptitude for problem-solving
- Proficiency with computers and willingness to learn agency management software
Preferred (Nice to Have)
- Active Utah Property & Casualty (P&C) license — or progress toward obtaining one
- 1–2 years of experience in insurance, financial services, or a customer-facing professional role
- Familiarity with personal lines products (auto, homeowners, renters, umbrella)
- Experience with agency management systems such as Applied Epic, AMS360, or similar
