Position: Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (RPSGT)

Start Date: 9/24/2024

Duration: 13 weeks

Location: Lawton, OK, 73505

Shift Type/Shift Times/Hours/Day: Nights, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, 12

Shift Notes: Sunday-Friday (Not Open Saturday Nights) - 32 Hour Guaranteed, potential for more hours

Weekend Requirements: Required

On-Call Requirements: None

COVID-19/FLU Requirement: na

Traveler Policy: Candidates' Permanent Address (Facility will not consider local candidates - 50-mile radius restriction)

Specific Policies:

  • Multipliers - No increased rate for OT, Holiday, and Call-Back
  • Orientation - Allied and Therapy Travelers start orientation on Tuesdays. Nursing Travelers start orientation on Thursdays
  • Call Policy - On Call paid out per hour with 1 Hour Minimum.
  • 1 Year NIH Certification Link:

Sleep technologists, also known as polysomnographic technologists, work with physicians to evaluate and treat sleep disorders by performing sleep studies on patients. They record clinical data such as brain activity, heart rate, breathing patterns, and blood oxygen levels while patients sleep. They then use this data to develop reports that physicians use to diagnose and treat disorders like narcolepsy and sleep apnea.

Submission Requirements
  • 2 years of experience - Required
  • RPSGT or CPSGT - Required

Profile Requirements:

  • Work History
  • Skills Checklist, current to 1 year, pertinent to the specialty
  • 2 Supervisory Reference Forms, taken within the last two years
  • Licensure & Certifications (RPSGT or CPSGT & BLS - AHA)
