🔹 Technical Specialist / Scientist II

📍 Location: Pomona, CA (Hybrid – 2 days onsite)

🏢 Work Address: 2 Innovation Way, Pomona, CA 91768

🕒 Duration: 12 Months

💰 Pay Rate: $25–36/hr (W2)

🕘 Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM

🌟 About the Role

We are hiring a Technical Specialist / Scientist II to support onboarding and access provisioning operations across key business units including SPE, Transmission & Distribution (T&D), Generation, and EHSQ.

This role is critical in ensuring employees have the right system access, tools, and technology on Day One while maintaining strict compliance with security and access governance policies.

🔧 Key Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day operational support for onboarding and provisioning activities
  • Submit and manage system access requests in compliance with security and governance standards
  • Partner with Hiring Managers to validate job templates and ensure accuracy of provisioning requests
  • Coordinate with IT and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of system access
  • Troubleshoot and resolve access-related issues for new and existing employees
  • Identify and correct missing or incorrect role assignments
  • Own and manage the team mailbox: prioritize requests, respond to inquiries, and maintain clear communication
  • Track and monitor requests through completion to ensure on-time onboarding readiness
  • Support continuous improvement of onboarding and provisioning workflows

🧠 Required Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to handle multiple requests simultaneously with high accuracy
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Detail-oriented with a customer-focused mindset
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Teams, Excel, etc.)

💡 Preferred Skills

  • Experience with enterprise systems such as:
  • SAP
  • SuccessFactors
  • Helix / Remedy
  • Prior experience in onboarding, provisioning, or access management
