Contract: 13 weeks with strong possibility of extension

Schedule: 7:00 AM – 7:30 PM | 3x12-hour shifts (Weekends required as needed)

Guaranteed hours per week: 36.00

Pay: Local $2200 Travel: $2500

Job Summary

Pride Health is seeking an experienced Oncology Registered Nurse (RN) for a contract opportunity in Neptune, NJ. The RN will provide specialized care to patients in a Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) and chemotherapy oncology unit, working closely with physicians and interdisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate patients and assist physicians with treatment and care planning

• Develop, implement, and document individualized nursing care plans

• Perform comprehensive patient assessments and prioritize care needs

• Administer therapeutic nursing interventions, including chemotherapy care

• Monitor and manage patient conditions in an acute oncology setting

• Maintain accurate documentation based on clinical standards and patient acuity

• Advocate for evidence-based practices and quality care improvements

• Provide patient-centered care aligned with professional nursing standards

• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes

• Perform additional duties as assigned

Requirements

• Active New Jersey RN License or Compact License

• BLS Certification (AHA) required

• Minimum 2 years of acute adult oncology experience (leukemia & lymphoma preferred)

• Experience in inpatient oncology/BMT setting

• Strong clinical, assessment, and critical thinking skills
