This accolade is a testament to the positive feedback from our employees about their RealManage experience.Property Summary:Stonebridge Ranch is a master planned community 35 miles Northeast of Dallas on 5,000 acres in McKinney, Texas, and contains 10,000 single-family homes and 35,000 residents.This is an Onsite position.Responsibilities:The Financial Manager is responsible for providing general ledger, cash management, financial reporting, cash flow forecasting, customized reports, and financial management consultation services for a portfolio of elite onsite and high-rise community association clients. This position will interface with the General Managers, Director of Association Management, Regional Vice Presidents of Onsite Management, community association Board of Directors and third-party service providers on financial matters. This is a "hands-on" position from an accounting perspective. The Financial Manager will report directly to the Financial Director.The Financial Manager will be responsible for:Client contractual service deliverables including review and approval of invoice workflows, production of monthly financial reports and review of annual budgetsManaging the monthly pre-close and close processes for a portfolio of communitiesManaging the preparation process for annual budgetsRelationship with client board of directorsManaging the daily flow of financial service inquiries and requestsClient billing for services performed outside the service level agreementClient satisfaction and retentionTroubleshooting and resolving escalated accounting issuesLiaison with Shared Services departments providing accounts payable, accounts receivable, property conveyances, community banking, collections, audit & tax, insurance, corporate accounting, Information Technology and transition services in the delivery of overall financial management servicesProcess improvement recommendations and implementationBecoming a "subject matter expert" on the technology platform with respect to the delivery of accounting and financial management servicesProjects as required to increase our ability to service our clientsOther duties as assigned by your supervisorQualificationsRequired:Accounting degree from a 4-year accredited college / universityWilling to learn new software and various state legislation that applies to common interest realty associationsTeamwork PerspectiveThe desire to have fun in the workplace while meeting and exceeding expectationsDesired:Real estate, property management and/or outsourced accounting / bookkeeping industry experience strongly preferredHands on experience with a mid to upper tier accounting software packageExceptional computer skills (power user)Graduate degree a plusExcellent grasp of Generally Accepted Accounting PrinciplesStrong organizational and prioritization skillsStrong interpersonal/communication (written and verbal) skillsAbility to work efficiently in a dynamic, challenging, high change/growth environmentAdvanced Excel Skills more than just pivot tables and vlookupPay: $90K to $100K depending on education and experienceBenefits include:Medical InsuranceDental InsuranceVision InsuranceLife and Disability InsuranceHSA (Required High Deductible Medical Plan to be eligible)FSAEducation Reimbursement401K matchingEmployee Assistance Program (EAP)11 paid Holidays
