Role: OpenShift Engineer
Duration: 6 Months (W2 Contract)
Location: Remote Mexico (Candidates must be based in Mexico)

Job Summary:

We are looking for a skilled Cloud Solutions Integration Engineer to deliver the Nokia Cloud NCP platform, which is built on the RedHat OpenShift platform. The ideal candidate will have experience in end-to-end delivery of OpenShift (OCP) in a telecom customer network.

Responsibilities:
  • Review customer-specific cloud architecture (NCP, OCP) and high-level solution design (HLD).
  • Collaborate closely with network planning/design teams to review Low-Level Design (LLD).
  • Provide expertise in network design, assisting IP Planners with Cloud IP connectivity needs.
  • Engage hands-on with Cloud Integrators to lead deployment and troubleshooting activities.
  • Support Acceptance Test Procedures (ATP) and operational testing of the Cloud platform.
  • Facilitate onboarding of Cloud-Native Functions (VNF) and Virtual Network Functions (VNF) applications.
  • Conduct Scale-out and Scale-in activities.
Qualifications:
  • Strong experience and mastery of Cloud technologies, particularly OpenShift (OCP).
  • Deep understanding of Nokia CNS Cloud Blueprint architecture (NCP) and expertise across multiple cloud platforms (NCP, OCP, AWS) with a strong IP networking background.
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in delivering OCP platforms.
  • Hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Docker, automation technologies, and troubleshooting complex Cloud delivery issues.
  • Education: BS in Engineering/Computer Science required; Master's degree preferred.
