Job Summary Registered Nurse Operating Room responsible for nursing activities related to the care of patients undergoing operative or other invasive procedures. Care includes adult patients, older adults through geriatric, and pediatric patients 8 years and older. Scope includes orthopedics, spine, podiatry, general surgery, pain management, and surgical dermatology. Qualifications Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing. Minimum two years previous OR experience. Current Maryland license as a Registered Nurse. Current CPR, ACLS and PALS certification. Ability to work independently and prioritize responsibilities. Ability to deal tactfully with patients, families, physicians, and employees. Knowledgeable of policies and procedures specific to operating room nursing. Pay Range $47.00/hr - $50.00/hr (Wages determined based on qualifications and experience). Benefits Medical, dental, vision, disability, and life insurance. Paid time off (vacation & sick leave). 401(k) retirement plan. Paid holidays. Health savings accounts, healthcare & dependent flexible spending accounts.
