Operations & Driver Recruiting Coordinator Admin/Mgmt About This Position Operations & Driver Recruiting Coordinator Blue Ox Transport Inc. – Arden Hills, MN Full-Time | In-Office About Blue Ox Transport Blue Ox Transport is a growing FedEx Ground Contracted Service Provider operating dedicated linehaul trucking. What began in 2014 as a single owner-operator truck has grown into a professional fleet operating from five FedEx Ground facilities across the state. Today we operate 18 trucks and are expanding with a long-term vision of building a 150-truck fleet. Our company is built on reliability, safety, strong driver relationships, and doing things the right way. We are seeking an organized, tech‑savvy Operations & Driver Recruiting Coordinator to help us hire great drivers, support office operations, and contribute to the continued growth of our fleet. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast‑paced operational environment, communicating with drivers, and keeping systems organized and running efficiently. Schedule Monday – Thursday: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM Friday: 9:00 AM – 2:00 PM Saturday: On-call availability between 6:00 AM – 9:00 AM to dispatch Sat AM drivers. (typically minimal time). Occasional evening communication with job applicants via text or email is required. Key Responsibilities Post and manage driver job listings across recruiting platforms Screen resumes and evaluate driver candidates Conduct structured interviews with applicants Recommend qualified candidates for hire Prepare job offers for management review Communicate with applicants via phone, text, and email Driver Onboarding & Compliance Coordinate background checks, drug tests, and onboarding Maintain driver qualification files and employment records Track medical cards, license renewals, and compliance documents Ensure employee files remain accurate and up to date Driver Success & Retention Maintain positive communication with drivers Track employee milestones such as birthdays and work anniversaries Assist with annual employee reviews Help resolve issues that may cause driver turnover Operations & Office Support Assist with office administration and data entry Maintain organized operational records Track company uniform inventory Help ensure drivers are assigned efficiently to available routes Qualifications Strong computer and technology skills; highly comfortable learning and using new software systems Highly organized with strong attention to detail Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities in a fast‑paced environment Strong communication and interpersonal skills Professional judgment when evaluating job applicants Positive attitude and strong work ethic Ability to work independently while remaining dependable, trustworthy, and accountable Required Experience / Skills Experience using job advertising platforms such as Indeed, ZipRecruiter, or similar recruiting tools Experience with Facebook Business Suite advertising (preferred) Strong proficiency with Microsoft Office / Office 365 Comfortable using Microsoft Teams and modern workplace communication tools Ability to conduct structured, professional interviews with job candidates Highly computer proficient and able to quickly learn and operate new systems Strong written communication skills for professional emails, job offers, and applicant communication Experience in recruiting, HR, logistics, or transportation is helpful but not required. Candidates with strong organizational ability and technology skills are encouraged to apply. Salary: $50,000 – $78,000 depending on experience This position also includes performance-based bonuses tied to driver retention and long-term driver success . Typical annual bonus potential for this role ranges from $4,000 – $10,000+ depending on hiring activity and driver retention performance. We also provide an employer-funded retirement contribution program that increases with tenure , reaching up to $5,000 annually for long‑term employees.
