Position Summary
The Operations Analytics & Business Intelligence Specialist plays a key role in supporting Pinewood Tool Corps manufacturing and business operations through advanced analytics, reporting, and performance measurement. This role partners closely with operations, finance, and leadership teams to translate business questions into meaningful insights, dashboards, and analytical models that drive operational excellence.
Key Responsibilities
Analyze manufacturing, inventory, sales, supplier, and logistics data to identify performance gaps and operational inefficiencies
Develop and maintain dashboards and recurring reports to track production, order fulfillment, inventory health, and operational KPIs
Apply statistical and analytical techniques to support demand planning, capacity analysis, and operational forecasting
Partner with operations, finance, and IT teams to define metrics, validate data sources, and ensure reporting accuracy
Perform trend analysis, root-cause analysis, and scenario analysis to support leadership decision-making
Support continuous improvement initiatives by providing data-driven insights and recommendations
Document data definitions, assumptions, and reporting logic to ensure consistency, transparency, and compliance
Prepare executive-level summaries and visualizations for leadership review
Required Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Analytics, Information Systems, Engineering, Business, or a related quantitative field (or equivalent experience)
5+ years of experience in analytics, business intelligence, or operations analytics roles
Strong experience working with structured datasets and performing quantitative analysis
Proficiency with SQL and data analysis tools
Experience developing dashboards and reports using BI tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, or similar)
Ability to translate complex data into clear, actionable insights for business stakeholders
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in manufacturing, supply chain, or operations-focused environments
Exposure to ERP systems and operational data sources
Familiarity with demand planning, inventory analytics, or production metrics
Strong communication skills and comfort working cross-functionally
