Director of Operations
Location: Lake Orion, Michigan (In-Person)
Salary: $85,000–$95,000 annually
The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing and improving the organization’s day-to-day operations. This role ensures that internal processes, systems, and teams are operating efficiently and consistently, while supporting leadership in executing strategic initiatives and driving operational excellence.
This is a full-time, in-person leadership role based in Lake Orion, Michigan.
Key Responsibilities- Oversee daily operational activities across departments to ensure efficiency and consistency
- Develop, document, and improve operational processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
- Manage cross-functional teams and support department leaders in execution and accountability
- Track operational performance metrics and identify areas for improvement
- Partner with executive leadership to implement strategic initiatives
- Identify operational risks and resolve issues proactively
- Support resource planning, staffing coordination, and workflow management
- Ensure operational compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations
- Drive continuous improvement and scalability as the organization grows
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7–10 years of operations, project management, or leadership experience
- Proven ability to manage people, processes, and priorities simultaneously
- Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
- Experience building or improving operational systems and workflows
- Comfortable working in a hands-on, in-person leadership role
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail
