Location: Lake Orion, Michigan (In-Person)
Salary: $85,000–$95,000 annually

Position Overview

The Director of Operations is responsible for overseeing and improving the organization’s day-to-day operations. This role ensures that internal processes, systems, and teams are operating efficiently and consistently, while supporting leadership in executing strategic initiatives and driving operational excellence.

This is a full-time, in-person leadership role based in Lake Orion, Michigan.

Key Responsibilities
  • Oversee daily operational activities across departments to ensure efficiency and consistency
  • Develop, document, and improve operational processes and standard operating procedures (SOPs)
  • Manage cross-functional teams and support department leaders in execution and accountability
  • Track operational performance metrics and identify areas for improvement
  • Partner with executive leadership to implement strategic initiatives
  • Identify operational risks and resolve issues proactively
  • Support resource planning, staffing coordination, and workflow management
  • Ensure operational compliance with internal policies and applicable regulations
  • Drive continuous improvement and scalability as the organization grows
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
  • 7–10 years of operations, project management, or leadership experience
  • Proven ability to manage people, processes, and priorities simultaneously
  • Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
  • Experience building or improving operational systems and workflows
  • Comfortable working in a hands-on, in-person leadership role
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
