The 361° collections are currently sold in more than 600 stores across this region.Role DescriptionAs an Operations/Logistical Expert, you will play a crucial role in overseeing and optimizing the logistics and operational activities that support our brand's day-to-day operations, including product distribution, event supplies, and athlete supply. You will work closely with the internal team, external partners, and sports professionals to ensure that every aspect of our operations is executed efficiently, on-time, and in alignment with our brand values and goals.The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of both the sports industry and supply chain management, along with an ability to manage complex logistics in a fast-paced, results-oriented environment. You will be responsible for ensuring the seamless flow of products, services, and information across all operational functions.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:Supply Chain & Distribution ManagementOversee end-to-end supply chain operations for product distribution to retail stores, e-commerce fulfillment centers, and our distributors.Coordinate the timely delivery of sports apparel, footwear, and equipment to key markets and retail partners.Manage relationships with 3PLs (third-party logistics providers) and other distribution partners to ensure high standards of delivery.Knowing and implementing the correct Incoterms (International Commercial Terms) is a critical requirement for this role.Retail & Store Operations SupportSupport the operational needs of retail partners and in-store displays, ensuring products are delivered on-time and meet retail specifications.Oversee logistics for retail store openings, product re-stocking, and promotional material distribution.Work with the marketing team to align logistics with seasonal promotions, sales campaigns, and product releases.Vendor & Supplier CoordinationBuild and maintain strong relationships with our HQ, key suppliers, manufacturers, and service providers, ensuring smooth coordination across the supply chain.Negotiate and manage logistics contracts with vendors and third-party service providers.Ensure adherence to contract terms, quality standards, and delivery timelines.Inventory Management & ReportingMonitor inventory levels across multiple channels and warehouses in the Netherlands and the UK, and ensure product availability while avoiding overstock or shortage.Produce regular reports on logistics performance, product distribution status, and inventory levels for senior management.Implement data-driven approaches to forecast demand and prevent bottlenecks in the supply chain.Process Improvement & Risk ManagementContinuously evaluate current operational processes and identify opportunities for cost reduction, efficiency improvements, and risk mitigation.Implement contingency plans for unexpected disruptions, including transportation delays or stock shortages.Ensure all logistics activities comply with company policies, industry standards, and legal requirements.REQUIREMENTS:Education & Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Sports Management, Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Business Administration, or a related field.At least 3–5 years of experience in logistics, operations, or supply chain management, ideally within the sports or consumer goods industry.Experience working with logistics software and tools for inventory management, tracking, and reporting.Knowledge of the sports industry, brand marketing, and sponsorships is highly desirable.Skills & Competencies:Strong project management and organizational skills with the ability to juggle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.Excellent communication, customer service and negotiation skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal teams, suppliers, and external partners.Problem-solving and critical-thinking skills with a proactive approach to anticipating and resolving issues.Ability to analyze and interpret data for decision-makingExcellent skills in ExcelKnowledge of inventory management and procurement processesProficiency in logistics and project management software, ERP systems, and data analytics tools.Strong attention to detail with an ability to maintain accuracy in complex operational tasks.Additional Requirements:Ability to travel as needed for team visits, and other logistical tasks.A passion for sports and a strong understanding of the sports brand landscape and market trends.A pro-active, involved, quick thinker who can work within a small team of experts, doing what is needed to achieve the business goals.Inspiring and convincing personalityFluent in English, with additional credits if you can also communicate in other European languages.DETAILS:· The position of Operations/Logistical Expert is currently available, we aim to recruit someone ASAP.· You will report to the General Manager and will work closely to our operations team at our HQ· The position is an on-site role in Hoofddorp, The Netherlands.· This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week.Check us out:
