More information about Dashiell can be found at Job Title: Operations Manager Job Location: 1300 Underwood, Deer Park, TX 77536 Primary Function Ultimately responsible for the supervision of technicians, client relations, communications, job productivity and profitability, billing, collections, safety & health, project pricing, and asset management as related to 3000 and 4000 series jobs. Duties & Responsibilities Coordinator for 3000 and 4000 series jobs Review of employees Project pricing Review of documentation (test reports, timesheets, project correspondence, payables, and purchase orders) Project reporting and cost control as related to lump‑sum jobs Supervision of secretarial/clerical staff and Field Service shop Other duties as required Minimum Qualifications / Experience Associates or Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electrical Engineering, or equivalent is required. Technician experience in the high voltage industry will be accepted in lieu of a degree. Minimum 10 plus years of experience in the high voltage industry is preferred. Possess Skills In The Following Areas Demonstrated knowledge of The Power Triangle Ability to understand the basics of one‑line, three‑line, AC/DC schemes, and connection diagrams Demonstrated solid understanding of the purpose of a current transformer and a potential transformer Ability to perform basic current transformer tests Ability to define typical AC & DC fundamentals Working knowledge of IEEE, ANSI, ICEA, and NETA standards Basic knowledge of various metering configurations and connections Physical Requirements Work situations will require an adjusted work schedule, possibly long days, evening/weekend hours in order to meet customer requirements Must be able to work on feet throughout the work shift At times will be required to work in austere working conditions Be able to properly lift up to 50 lbs. Travel to job sites is required. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions as defined per Company policy.
