JOB DESCRIPTION Position: Operations Manager Shift: 2nd Shift – (5:00 pm to 1:00 am) Schedule: Monday through Friday Reports To: Director of Operations Employment Status: Full Time FLSA Classification: Salary/Exempt Compensation Range: $75,000 to $90,000 a year Job Summary The Operations Manager is responsible for overseeing and coordinating all night operations across the production, sanitation, and warehouse departments. This role ensures compliance with safety, quality, productivity, and hygiene standards, while maintaining efficient workflow and team performance during the night shift. The operations manager is the primary point of contact for operational matters and ensures a smooth transition between shifts, guaranteeing that production processes meet plans and deadlines, while monitoring the productivity of the organization's manufacturing teams. Job Responsibilities Supervise operations for Production, Sanitation, and Warehouse departments Ensure production targets and schedules are met according to daily plans Oversee sanitation activities to ensure compliance with food safety and company standards, making sure all lines are set up and clean Monitor warehouse operations including receiving, storage, picking, staging, and shipping Enforce safety rules, GMP’s, and company HR policies at all times Conduct shift start-up meetings and communicate daily priorities and expectations Ensure proper staffing and assign tasks to team members Verify completion of production, sanitation, and warehouse logs and reports Train, coach, and execute corrective action plans to ensure performance and accountability Perform basic troubleshooting of operational issues and escalate when necessary Ensure smooth shift handoff by communicating issues, progress, and pending tasks to the next shift manager Ensuring all safety and health standards are met to keep an organization accident‑free Job Requirements Strong leadership, communication, and problem‑solving skills Strong project management skills Proven record in training employees about safety and production Knowledge of safety regulations established by OSHA and sanitation standards Basic computer skills (Excel, reports, emails, and tablets) Ability to work night shifts, weekends based on business needs Bilingual Spanish is a must Training and Experience Bachelor’s degree or a combination of hands‑on experience in manufacturing 6+ years of experience.
