Summary
As an Operations Manager , you will lead daily service and installation operations with a focus on fire and commercial security systems across the Greater Brevard County area. You’ll manage a team of technicians, overseeing projects from kickoff through completion to ensure work is delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards.
This role partners closely with sales and customers to set expectations, coordinate scheduling, and drive a seamless installation experience. What You'll Do
Lead day-to-day operations for service and installation teams, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget
Manage the full lifecycle of installation projects, including permitting, scheduling, material ordering, execution, and closeout
Work closely with sales teams to review new projects, set realistic customer expectations, and ensure a smooth transition from sale to installation
Provide technical guidance and support to field technicians working on alarm, CCTV, access control, and fire systems
Monitor team productivity, ensuring technicians are effectively utilized and meeting performance expectations
Recruit, hire, train, and develop technicians while providing ongoing coaching and performance management
Maintain inventory and ensure fleet readiness to support operational needs
Communicate proactively with customers regarding timelines, expectations, and project updates to deliver a strong customer experience
Ensure compliance with industry regulations, safety standards, and permitting requirements
What You'll Need
High school diploma or equivalent ; technical or trade school preferred
Minimum of 5+ years of experience working with security, fire alarm, CCTV, and access control systems
Fire systems experience (installation, service, and/or inspections) required, with at least 3+ years of hands‑on experience
Minimum of 1 year of supervisory or management experience leading field teams
Strong knowledge of permitting processes, fire codes, and industry regulations
Proven ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast‑paced environment
Strong communication skills, with the ability to coordinate across teams and set clear expectations with customers
Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record
Experience with Microsoft Office and operational systems
NICET Level III certification or higher strongly preferred
FASA/BASA certification preferred
