PRIMARY FUNCTIONS:
The role is responsible for leading and overseeing seafood distribution operations to ensure business growth, operational excellence, and workforce effectiveness. This includes driving seafood sales and market expansion, managing daily distribution center performance, optimizing inventory and costs, and fostering a high-performing team culture. The position collaborates closely with cross-functional departments to align operational strategies with overall business goals and ensure quality, efficiency, and profitability across the seafood division.

Build relationships with suppliers, vendors, and major customers to drive revenue and ensure product quality.
Collaborate with Procurement on inventory, turnover, and shrinkage reduction.
Contribute to pricing, promotions, and marketing strategies to strengthen competitiveness and market share.

Proficient knowledge of warehouse operations
Excellent problem-solving skills and leadership qualities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Be innovative and able to focus, process and implement initiatives
Solid understanding of financial management
Ability to work with all levels of company staff
Have a strong rapport with business and functional leaders
Must be able to travel extensively within the US. This may consist of driving and flying

EDUCATION AND/OR TRAINING:
Degree in Business, Operations Management, or related field
3+ years' experience in operations management lead role managing hourly employees.
Strong Sales and Marketing background
Route dispatching experience preferred
Bilingual (English & Mandarin) - This role needs to communicate with Mandarin speaking people.
