Position Description
Reporting to the Chief Operating Officer, this position is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, doing something a little different every day. This position is responsible for key business operations that support the successful delivery of team and stakeholder experience. This position oversees the company’s day-to-day operational activities, including facilities and equipment management, technology and A/V management and support, and general administrative and office management functions. This position supports all JA-Rocky Mountain facilities. This is an in-office position, primarily based out of the Greenwood Village location. The ideal candidate will view this job as a career destination.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
Facilities Management (40%)
• Oversee, maintain, and coordinate ongoing safety measures, including facility inspections, emergency procedures, and adherence to all safety regulations
• Manage and negotiate contracts with service providers and vendors including custodial, HVAC, security, electric, parking, snow removal and environmental, maintenance services, etc.
• Serve as point of contact for all facilities needs and projects
• Coordinate repairs, warranty items, renovations, updates, etc.
• Maximize capacity and multi-functional utilization of the Free Enterprise Center facility by ensuring coordination of event rentals, students, repairs/maintenance, tours, special events, etc., and including technology and scheduling.
• Regularly inspect facility and initiate maintenance and repairs where needed; includes organizing and managing storage spaces
• Asset management of all technology, furniture, and equipment, including leased equipment
Technology Management (30%)
• Monitor, manage, and support all facilities systems and technology, utilizing third-party resources where necessary
• Provide basic technology and A/V setup, support, and troubleshooting for the organization, including support for the Programs and Fundraising teams, and in coordination with third-party vendor for support as needed
• Serve as point of contact with third-party managed IT services provider to ensure security, compliance, backup, and network management meets organizational needs
• Own new employee set-up, and facilitate technology training
• In coordination with Programs teams and vendors, plan for technology updates, replacements, security, etc.
• Provide software management and troubleshooting support to the Program and Fundraising teams as needed
General Support (30%)
• Evaluate current procedures and processes to increase operational efficiency and make recommendations for improvements
• Build strong relationships with management and individuals to understand and support their needs, help solve problems, and inform decision-making regarding operational activity and goal-setting
• Document operational processes, procedures, and best practices to ensure consistency, compliance, and efficiency
• Where required, provide internal and external support to stakeholders, to include meeting preparation, scheduling, logistics, communication, and data management
• In conjunction with the Chief Operating Officer, monitor and help manage the Operations budget
• Other duties as assigned
Qualifications:
• At least two years of related experience
• Must be capable of working cross-functionally, balancing competing priorities, and addressing urgent needs while also progressing toward identified goals
• Excellent understanding of technology with strong troubleshooting skills across multiple platforms
• Ability to work independently on multiple projects under strict deadlines, manage time efficiently, and multi-task in a fast-paced environment
• Must be flexible, open, positive, and collaborative
• Must be highly organized, have excellent planning and leadership skills, and have the ability to communicate effectively
• Proficient with Microsoft Office applications, and other software, applications, databases, and tools
Preferred Qualifications:
• Bilingual in Spanish
• Experience working in nonprofit, education, association, or similar resource-sensitive organizations

Compensation and Benefits:
• This is an exempt position with an annual salary range of $55,000-64,000
