Seeking and Operations Manager for manufacturing facility in Grover, NC. This position will also handle general maintenance at the facility.

1st shift, should be available for rotating weekends and emergency calls.
75-90k

Job Responsibilities: 
  • Monitor facility systems, including HVAC, electrical, and mechanical systems, to identify potential issues and implement corrective actions. 
  • Performance any preventative and general maintenance needed at the facility.
  • Coordinate with vendors and contractors to schedule and oversee maintenance and repair work. 
  • Assist in developing and managing budgets for facility operations and maintenance. 
  • Ensure all facility documentation, including maintenance logs and safety records, are accurately maintained. 
  • Conduct regular inspections and audits of facility systems and operations to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements. 
  • Handle heavy workload of calls
  • Inform customer when arriving at or leaving the job and when planning to return 
  • Manage workload and job scheduling
  • Promptly and accurately complete all required paperwork  
  • Keep manager informed of customer feedback
  • Communicate effectively and promptly
  • Perform service activities for assigned buildings.  Ensure that services are performed as contracted and at the intended profit margins.
  • Control supplies, equipment, and personnel necessary to meet customer specifications.  
  • Interact with customers daily to obtain feedback on services and special needs.  Troubleshoot potential problems and concerns.
  • Develop operational improvement plans and implements process changes within assigned buildings.
  • Work with District Manager to develop an action plan for all invoices that are outside of the contractual parameters.
  • Ensure that vehicle inspections are performed monthly.  Ensure that vehicle maintenance is scheduled and performed on all area vehicles. 
  • Perform other duties as assigned
     
Required Skills and Qualifications: 
  • Facility Maintenance Background (HVAC, Electrical, Plumbing)
  • Strong understanding of facility management principles and practices, particularly in critical infrastructure industries. 
  • Knowledge of relevant regulations, codes, permits, and standards, particularly those related to electrical, mechanical, and HVAC systems. 
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify potential issues and develop effective solutions. 
  • Excellent organizational, planning, and documentation skills. 
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with vendors, contractors, and internal teams. 
  • Proficiency in using facility management software and other relevant tools. 
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously. 

Basic Qualifications:
•  Must be 18 years of age or older 
•  Must possess valid, unexpired driver's license 
•  High School Diploma, GED or suitable equivalent is required
