Swiftwick designs, engineers, and builds performance socks for endurance sports. We are seeking a process-driven person with a passion for continuous improvement to lead team members who create exceptional experiences for our customers. The Operations Manager will guide our customer service, order management, and fulfillment teams. This position is a temporary role and will be reporting to the Director of Operations.

About you:

  • Keen eye for detail and highly organized 
  • Ability to lead and mentor team members 
  • Desire to contribute ideas and solutions create efficiencies

Responsibilities (other duties may be assigned):

  • Address customer inquiries and guide customers to solutions through live chats in Gorgias
  • Lead, guide, and develop team members to optimize efficiency, morale, and professional development
  • Develop and maintain effective business processes that adapt to changing business demands while striving to exceed customer expectations at every opportunity
  • Identify and implement initiatives to increase performance, improve service levels and reduce costs 
  • Work closely with the Controller and Supply Chain team to ensure business processes support accurate and efficient inventory control and accounting
  • Track and maintain appropriate metrics
  • Participate as a member of the management team and contribute to company decision making and strategic planning

Requirements

  • 3-5 years in customer service or related field
  • 5+ years of relevant work experience in a management role 
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Operations Management or related field preferred 
  • Exceptional analytical, planning, and organizational skills
  • Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and is committed to producing accurate and high-quality work
