Provide a well merchandised and well in-stock store by leading and supporting inventory management processes. Lead a team of well-trained team members to deliver a customer centric shopping experience. Deliver friendly customer service. Major Activities Assist Store Manager in planning and supporting the scheduling and execution of store workload. Assist Store Manager in leading and managing adherence to Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Company programs to ensure compliance with applicable laws and requirements; ensure execution of Company policies and standards; hold team accountable for store conditions and results. Support and participate in truck unload and stocking processes to ensure standards are followed and completed within budget. Achieve KPIs; manage your team to achieve their role KPIs. Manage visual merchandising standards and execution of feature space and seasonal layouts. Manage inventory management processes and merchandise operations. Manage and execute shrink and safety programs. Train, observe, and coach the team to achieve results; participate in performance management; support talent development; utilize leadership competencies for self-development. Interact with others respectfully; remain positive; promote commitment to the organization’s vision and values; serve as a role model. Serve as Manager on Duty (MOD). Acknowledge customers, help locate products, and provide solutions. Cross-train in Custom Framing selling and production. Assist with Omni channel processes. Other Duties As Assigned Preferred Experience Retail management leadership experience. Physical Requirements Ability to stand for long periods. Move throughout the store. Bend, lift, carry, reach, and stretch regularly. Lifting heavy boxes and accessing high shelves with equipment. Work Environment Public retail store setting; climate-controlled areas; some outdoor work; work hours include nights, weekends, and early mornings.
