We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Operations Manager to join our team. The Operations Manager will play a critical support role to the Senior Managing Director for the New England Region and the Director of Operations for New England. The role includes working with team members in Providence RI and Boston, MA.
Essential Functions and Primary Duties:
- Organizing and supporting events and meetings for Executive Management, Industry Teams, Regional and National teams. Support includes various responsibilities, including but not limited to: drafting agendas, developing meeting materials, coordinating event location\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\\details, drafting correspondence and assisting with the development of workplans for key initiatives.
- Work with management and internal teams on projects as assigned. Manage the status and timelines and provide updates on issues, as necessary.
- Contribute to various projects as needed, collaborating with cross-functional teams to achieve objectives.
- Run/create and analyze reports to assist SMD, the Director of Operations and other firm management members.
- Prepare meeting agendas/materials and takes comprehensive meeting notes.
- Draft correspondence on behalf of the Senior Managing Director (SMD) and the Director of Operations
- Provide regular operational updates to the offices, keeping stakeholders informed of any changes or developments.
- Provide administrative support to leadership as needed, including calendar management, meeting coordination, and other tasks as assigned.
- Manage busy calendars and organize complex meetings.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field.
- 5 years of experience in operations management, preferably in a professional services environment such as public accounting.
- Previous experience utilizing strong leadership skills, a customer-centric mindset, and the ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
- Strong leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to effectively lead and develop a team.
- Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
- Proven track record of managing complex projects and initiatives from inception to completion.
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact effectively with stakeholders at all levels.
- Ability to work in both Providence, RI and Boston, MA.
- Desire to work in the Office a minimum of 4 days per week.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and other relevant software applications.
- Knowledge of industry best practices.
- Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and dynamic work environment, demonstrating resilience and flexibility.
- Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing operational challenges.
- Ability to act independently, oversee others and solve problems is critical to this role.
Minimum Qualifications Required
- Bachelors degree in relevant field preferred OR High School Diploma (or GED) and 7 years experience in relevant field
- Must have and preserve required licenses
- Proficient use of applicable technology
- Demonstrated ability to communicate verbally and in writing with all levels of an organization, both internally and externally
- Ability to travel as required by business
The annual salary target for this job in this market is $90,000-$120,000. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
