Now, we’re looking for an Operations Manager to take the helm of our Traction Manufacturing Unit. A key role responsible for overseeing the full operational landscape, from project engineering to procurement, manufacturing, logistics, quality, and continuous improvement.If you're a results-driven operations leader with a track record of building strong teams, improving performance, and delivering world-class manufacturing outcomes, we want to hear from you.What You’ll Do:Own and execute the operational strategy for the Mechanicsville Motion Traction Unit—spanning project engineering, production, logistics, planning, procurement, and quality.Lead the development and implementation of business action plans, aligning with division and product group targets.Prepare and manage the annual operating budget, monitor progress, and implement corrective actions to stay on course.Ensure operational excellence across the value chain, delivering on customer expectations around quality, service level, and lead time.Champion a culture of safety, risk awareness, and integrity at every level of the operation.Implement and sustain a mindset of continuous improvement, using KPIs, metrics, and lean methodologies.Inspire and lead cross-functional teams—ensuring collaboration, talent development, and performance management.Partner closely with leadership across functions to ensure unified execution of strategic objectives.What You Bring:Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business administration, or operations management; OR equivalent experience (associate's with 10+ years, or HS diploma with 12+ years).8+ years of leadership experience in a manufacturing or production environment, with a strong record of building cross-functional teams.Strong skills in strategic planning, operational execution, and continuous improvement.Expertise in managing by KPIs and using data to drive improvements in performance, quality, and safety.Familiarity with MS Office and SAP or similar ERP systems.A mindset focused on team empowerment, ownership, and long-term sustainability.Bonus Points If You Have:Experience in power electronics or electronics manufacturing.Knowledge of propulsion technologies, industrial electrification, or motion systems.Familiarity with lean manufacturing and Six Sigma tools and practices.
