WIN Waste Innovations is looking for an Operations Manager who has the ability to manage all activities related to operations and development of the facility. The Operations Manager will be responsible for the safe, proper, and efficient operation and maintenance of the facility in accordance with company policies and standards, under the direction of the Plant Manager.
Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate maintenance activities including installing, inspecting, testing, repairing, adjusting, and calibrating all plant equipment and instrumentation.
Plan and conduct major outages; implement and direct an effective preventive maintenance program and lubrication plans.
Maintain a positive work environment by acting and communicating in a manner that fosters good relations with customers, clients, vendors, co‑workers and management.
Education and Experience
Three years or more of previous experience in a comparable role in an administrative or business support capacity.
Bachelor's or Associate’s degree in a technical field or equivalent.
Six years’ experience in an incineration plant environment, with a minimum of five years in a supervisory role.
For all Massachusetts facilities, a 2nd Class Engineers license is required, and the applicant must be able to demonstrate the skills, experience and knowledge to sit for a 1st Class Engineers license.

Reach with hands and arms, climb and walk on heights often greater than 4 feet.
Stoop, kneel, bend, push, pull, crawl.
Ascend and descend stairs and stationary vertical ladders as part of normal work activity and emergency egress situations.
Lift 50 lbs.
Move about all areas of the plant, including catwalks, deck grating, and uneven surfaces.
Operate a 1.5‑inch fire hose operating at 125 psi line pressure and operate fire extinguishing equipment ranging from handheld extinguishers to 200 lb portable units.
Access confined spaces and pressure vessels through standard 12" by 16" manways.
