About the Role As the Operations Manager in our food-based warehouse, you will be a driving force behind the overall performance and success of daily operations in the facility. You will manage scheduling, oversee daily operations reports, and increase production by providing leadership and developing strategic action plans. By managing key aspects of the supply chain, you will lead and coordinate various teams to ensure seamless and optimized operations. The ideal candidate will be a strong leader with excellent interpersonal communication skills and superior logical reasoning. The Production Manager balances the day‑to‑day operations on the warehouse floor, being an agent of change, and supporting the professional development of a large team of individuals. To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Responsibilities Maintain a safety‑first culture in our food‑based fulfillment center and meet site environmental, health, quality & safety performance metrics. Oversee day‑to‑day operations, drive performance, prepare operating reports, establish KPIs, and provide value‑driven feedback. Lead and motivate large cross‑functional teams including receiving, production, inventory control, and shipping. Champion continuous improvement efforts, identify opportunities, and implement new processes. Foster effective communication and collaboration among departments; coordinate logistics, inventory, and distribution activities. Develop a highly effective site leadership team, applying high standards for selection and performance, setting clear goals, and delegating responsibilities. Analyze production data, prepare performance reports, and conduct root‑cause analysis to implement corrective action plans. Build strong professional relationships with direct reports and site HR Business Partners, communicating urgent issues and maintaining accurate administrative records. Skills & Qualifications Previous leadership experience in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Familiarity with regulatory requirements for operating plants. Ability to adapt to changing priorities, delegate, and manage time efficiently. Experience conducting root‑cause analysis investigations. Experience training others to new processes or procedural updates. Aptitude for equipment operation and troubleshooting. Strong team management skills with ability to supervise multiple teams. Experience leading and motivating large teams. Strict adherence to company standards and safety procedures. Excellent leadership, team building, and people management skills. Strong interpersonal skills and communication at all management levels. Analytical thinking and strategic problem‑solving. Excellent conflict‑resolution and decision‑making abilities. Physical ability to stand, bend, squat, and lift up to 50 pounds. Nice to Have Lean Six Sigma, PMP, TPM or other relevant certifications. 5+ years plant operations experience. 5+ years manufacturing experience. Details of Position & Benefits Salary range: $80,000 - $90,000 per year. Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance. 401(k) retirement plan.
