You’ll lead the planning of operational activity, champion continuous improvement, and ensure cross‑functional teams have the information and processes they need to deliver excellent outcomes for customers and colleagues. You’ll become the “go‑to” for operational coordination — balancing strategic planning with hands‑on delivery, and acting as both a subject‑matter expert and a trusted partner to senior leaders.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced, multi‑site environment and wants to help shape the operational foundation of a growing organisation.What You’ll Be DoingCreating and maintaining a clear operational capacity plan covering all major activity and change initiativesEnsuring the business has a consistent, “one version of the truth” approach to operational planning and communicationLeading continuous improvement work across processes, policies, operating models, and service frameworksActing as the business owner for key operational systems, working closely with IT and data teamsSupporting the design and implementation of target operating and resource models across our branch networkLeading the operational delivery of major change programmes and cross‑functional initiativesWorking with People Engagement to deliver effective communication plansBuilding strong relationships with Divisional Directors, Heads of Operations and Area Care ManagersUsing data to report, influence decisions, and improve operational efficiencyContributing to the wider strategy as part of the Central Operations leadership teamYou’ll Bring:Experience in a fast‑paced, multi‑site operational environmentStrong problem‑solving skills and a data‑driven approachThe ability to engage, influence, and communicate confidently at all levelsA proactive mindset with the drive to improve how things workExcellent planning, organisational, and project management skillsFlexibility, resilience, and a collaborative approachDesirable, but not essential:Experience in the care sector or a regulated environmentLEAN, Six Sigma or project/change management qualificationsExperience implementing operating models or leading improvement projectsWhy Helping HandsA meaningful role where your work helps frontline teams deliver life‑changing careA supportive, inclusive team culture that encourages growthGenuine opportunities for career development and progressionHybrid working from our Alcester Support OfficeThe chance to influence operational strategy and shape how a national organisation worksA workplace where every voice is valued and everyone is welcomedHelping Hands is proud to champion a diverse and inclusive workforce.
