Position Summary The Operations Specialist is responsible for providing excellent customer service to internal and external customers, with a primary emphasis on wire transfers and fraud prevention and resolution. This position provides various regular and recurring operational and accounting functions to support First Southern National Bank operations. Key Responsibilities Assist with reconciling and balancing general ledger accounts and other bank accounts. Communicate with customers and branches to process all debit card disputes. Maintain knowledge of all procedures associated with all functions in the Operations Department. Draft new and update existing procedures to streamline operational functions as needed. Prepare and submit timely and accurate reports as needed. Provide excellent customer service and assist in resolving problems within the given authority. Comply with all laws and banking regulations, as applicable. Other duties as assigned. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in accounting, finance, or another related field OR two plus years of related banking or accounting experience required. Proficient level of computer competency, including Microsoft Excel. Excellent interpersonal, service, and communication skills. Strong organizational skills and detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy. Ability to work independently and in a team setting. Dependable and a quick learner.
