Cash Management Operations Specialist Location: Tempe, AZ (Hybrid Schedule) Duration: Contract Schedule: Monday–Wednesday onsite, Thursday–Friday remote Position Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented Operations Specialist to support high-volume financial transaction processing in a fast-paced environment. This role functions as a key member of the operations team, responsible for processing financial transactions, maintaining accuracy, meeting established service levels, and supporting internal and external stakeholders. The ideal candidate is comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and maintaining a high level of accuracy while processing a large volume of transactions. Key Responsibilities Process financial transactions and disbursement requests accurately and efficiently Manage daily work queues and ensure items are completed within established service-level agreements (SLAs) Review reports and assist with reconciliation activities Support account transfer activities and transaction requests Communicate with internal teams and external partners to resolve discrepancies and obtain approvals Maintain accurate documentation and records Meet daily productivity goals while adhering to quality standards Identify and elevate issues that may impact transaction processing timelines Support operational workflows and process improvement initiatives Required Qualifications 1+ year of experience in operations, financial services, banking, transaction processing, customer service, or a related field Ability to work in a high-volume, production-driven environment Strong attention to detail and accuracy Excellent organizational and time-management skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Basic proficiency with Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications Preferred Qualifications Experience with banking operations, financial services, wealth management, or brokerage operations Familiarity with financial transactions such as ACH payments, wire transfers, internal transfers, or disbursements Experience supporting account transfers or reconciliation activities Exposure to investment products such as mutual funds, stocks, or retirement accounts Experience working with financial systems, CRM platforms, or document management tools Ideal Candidate Thrives in a fast-paced operational environment Enjoys process-driven work and maintaining accuracy Possesses a strong customer-service mindset Can quickly learn new systems and procedures Comfortable working with deadlines and productivity metrics Demonstrates professionalism, accountability, and attention to detail Benefits of the Opportunity Gain experience in financial operations and transaction processing Develop expertise within the financial services industry Work with experienced operations professionals Opportunity for contract extension based on performance and business needs Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Tempe, AZ.
