ABOUT US

The company is also a certified for its capability to handle national contracts for major corporations.

ABOUT THE ROLE

The Operations Supervisor is responsible for managing the daily operations of the warehouse and will lead a team of Warehouse Associates and serve as the primary point of contact for resolving operational issues.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Collaborate with the warehouse team to receive and verify incoming product shipments against purchase orders.
  • Inspect incoming shipments for accuracy and quality.
  • Ensure proper storage of inventory in designated locations.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and conduct regular stock audits.
  • Coordinate with purchasing to manage stock levels, reorder points, and minimize excess stock.
  • Ensure all products are stored and handled according to company standards.
  • Coordinate with shipping carriers to ensure accurate and timely delivery of products.
  • Work with the warehouse team to optimize warehouse processes and enhance operational efficiency.
  • Utilize warehouse management software (e.g., Solar Eclipse) for tracking, reporting, and overall warehouse performance.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and safe warehouse environment by adhering to best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards.
  • Report and assist in resolving any safety issues or incidents promptly.
  • Oversee the daily tasks of the warehouse team to ensure accuracy and timely completion.
  • Serve as the main point of contact for resolving issues and coordinating with other departments.
  • Foster strong relationships to ensure high levels of customer satisfaction.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • High School Diploma or equivalent.
  • A bachelor's degree or additional certification in warehousing/logistics is a plus.
  • Proficiency with warehouse management software, particularly Solar Eclipse, is highly desirable.
  • Previous experience in a leadership or management role within warehouse operations.
  • Knowledge of warehouse operations, electrical products, and industry regulations.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to work in a warehouse environment with varying temperatures and noise levels.
  • Capability to stand, walk, and perform repetitive tasks for extended periods.
  • Ability to lift and carry heavy objects as needed.
  • Safe operation of warehouse equipment.
  • Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
  • Ability to travel as necessary (minimal travel required).
