Position Title: Financial Operations Supervisor Purchasing
Overview
PlanMember is on the lookout for a Financial Operations Supervisor to lead and manage essential purchasing operations within our financial services framework. This role is key to ensuring the seamless execution of financial and administrative functions, supporting a team dedicated to maintaining accuracy, compliance, and operational efficiency.
In this leadership position, you'll collaborate with cross-functional teams, serve as the department's Subject Matter Expert (SME), and work closely with the Director of Operations to align departmental processes with company objectives. We're seeking a proactive leader with exceptional organizational skills, sharp attention to detail, and the ability to inspire and develop a team.
Key Responsibilities
- Team Leadership: Plan, prioritize, and oversee daily team tasks to ensure accurate and efficient processing of operations.
- Process Oversight: Approve and reconcile departmental ACH and wire transactions, verify trade files, and ensure compliance with deadlines.
- Problem Solving: Act as the first escalation point for the department, resolving complex issues and identifying trends in service and research requests.
- Process Improvement: Monitor, track, and report on the implementation of process enhancements, ensuring alignment with policies and procedures.
- Training & Mentorship: Lead team meetings, conduct one-on-one developmental sessions, and provide training to enhance team members' skills and career growth.
- Compliance Management: Ensure strict adherence to company policies, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and regulatory requirements.
- Project Coordination: Manage internal projects, liaise with stakeholders, and ensure timely completion of deliverables.
- Client Education: Present the department's role to sales representatives and their teams, promoting clear understanding of operations.

Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma required; a bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field is highly preferred.
- Experience: Minimum of four years in financial services or operational roles, with prior leadership experience being an advantage.
- Certifications: FINRA Series Licenses (SIE & Series 6) are required, with Series 7 strongly encouraged.
