Position Overview The Operations Supervisor manages the team’s workflow by assigning tasks, monitoring results, and reporting to senior management. Responsibilities include ensuring safety and efficiency, improving processes, setting targets, coaching staff, and acting as the liaison between employees and upper management. Work Location On‑site role. Work Schedule Friday – Sunday, 7 am – 7:30 pm. Compensation and Benefits Annual salary $65,000‑$70,000 plus bonus. Benefits include PTO, sick time, corporate holidays, medical, dental, vision insurance, and 401(k) matching. Compensation is based on experience, skills, and education. Key Responsibilities Promote a safe environment for the customer’s product, associates, and temporary workers. Follow established operational procedures for verification of incoming and outgoing shipments, handling, disposition of materials, and maintaining up‑to‑date warehouse inventory. Deliver 100% customer satisfaction. Build a positive teamwork environment through active listening and communication. Help maintain attendance and tardiness records. Monitor daily compliance with safety procedures. Investigate accidents and prepare reports. Provide on‑the‑job coaching and training to maintain associate skill levels. Coordinate vacations, payroll, and timesheets for associates and temporary workers, and address complaints and concerns regarding productivity and quality of work. Oversee outbound associates. Maintain proper Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) for a food‑grade warehouse. Requirements High school diploma or GED with some college-level study. At least 2 years of supervisory experience in warehousing. Strong oral and written communication skills. Preferred Qualifications Bachelor’s degree strongly preferred. Microsoft Office Suite experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience. Lean Six Sigma experience. Inventory management experience. Third‑Party Logistics (3PL) experience.
