Would you like to work for a locally owned bank that supports the community you live in? We are hiring for a full-time Operations Support Specialist. As an Operations Support Specialist you will be responsible for assisting in ensuring that all Data Processing functions operate effectively and efficiently; performs daily operations which support functions of core processing system(s), including intraday, nightly, and month end processing; computer operation; internet and mobile banking; customer inquires and ensures requests are completed in a timely fashion. Provides coordination of payroll with external vendor including time and labor, update payroll systems, resolve pay-related inquiries, and reconcile payroll and benefit reports. Provides support for Board and Shareholder projects. Provides back-up responsibilities and support to other positions in the Operations Department.
Requirements:Essential Duties May Include:
- Assists customers and potential customers with questions, problems, and inquiries regarding account information or digital banking services, in person and by telephone.
- Assists with answering in-coming phone calls to respond to customer questions, problems and directs calls to other appropriate departments/personnel as needed.
- Coordinate payroll process with external Payroll Processor and Director of Operations.
- Prepare custom reports for supervisor and management on a payroll basis and as needed.
- Serves as the contact for the HRIS system, including Time and Labor.
- Review and audit monthly vendor benefit statements and prepare monthly General Ledger entries.
- Provides administration support to the Pillar Bank Board of Directors.
Knowledge, Skills, Experience Needed: To be successful in this position you will have two years banking experience and customer service experience. Experience in payroll and bookkeeping/operations preferred. The idea candidate must have demonstrated ability to provide the highest quality of customer service in an efficient, professional, confidential and accurate manner consistent with Pillar Bank's values and standards.
Education and Experience:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- Associate Degree in accounting or equivalent experience preferred.
- Two years banking experience and experience in payroll and accounting/operations preferred.
