Summary Operator I (Sylmar, CA | 6 Months | 7:30 AM 4 PM)

The Operator I is responsible for assembling, testing, and repairing high-quality medical devices such as pacemakers and defibrillators in a cleanroom manufacturing environment. Working under close supervision, the operator performs routine tasks following standardized procedures and ensures all documentation, safety, and quality standards are met.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assemble and test medical device components according to specifications.

  • Maintain accurate production and quality records.

  • Follow Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols.

  • Participate in continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives.

  • Communicate effectively with supervisors and team members.

Requirements
  • High school diploma or equivalent.

  • Ability to read, comprehend, and follow written/verbal instructions.

  • Good manual dexterity for handling small components.

  • Basic computer and data entry skills.

  • Strong attention to detail and adherence to quality standards.

Work Environment & Dress Code
  • Must comply with strict cleanroom attire: non-shedding, lint-free clothing, no jewelry, makeup, nail polish, or loose garments.

  • Closed-toe, low-heeled shoes and full coverage of arms and legs required.

  • Head coverings and gowns must meet cleanroom standards.
