My client has an immediate opening for a Medical and Primary Care Optometrist!

This is your opportunity to join one of the most progressive, fastest growing eye care centers in the Mid-Atlantic region. Youll be joining a highly collaborative medical group with multiple optical dispensaries and a wide variety of ophthalmic sub-specialties including Cornea, Retina, Glaucoma, Peds, Refractive Surgery, Uveitis, Cataract, and a strong Primary base.

This is well-established practice and nationally recognized leader in EMR and technology with outstanding clinical support, diagnostic equipment, four-room ophthalmic ASC, and professional management team. Key Responsibilities:
  • Perform comprehensive eye exams.
  • Diagnose and assist in the treatment of ocular diseases.
  • Prescribe corrective lenses.
  • Provide pre and post-operative care to surgical patients.
  • Promote healthy vision through counseling and educating patients.
  • Maintain detailed patient records regarding prognosis, treatment plans, and progress.
  • Provide appropriate response to eye care emergencies.
Desired Experience:
  • Doctor of Optometry (O.D.) degree.
  • Average patient load of 15-18 patients daily.
  • Team player who prioritizes quality patient care and safety.
  • Must be self-motivated and able to manage multiple tasks with strong attention to detail.
  • Strong analytical problem solving and critical thinking skills.
Salary and Benefits:
  • $150,000 - 160,000 annually.
  • Attractive base salary + lucrative productivity bonuses.
