Job Title: Oracle Database Administrator (Texas residents only )
Location: Remote

We are currently seeking candidates who meet the following requirements

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform database development tasks including creating views, tables, and PL/SQL code for the Financial Data Warehouse application.
  • Design, develop, and test new tables, views, stored procedures, and functions to support project needs.
  • Develop and test Linux shell scripts to invoke database calls and schedule jobs.
  • Optimize database performance, identify bottlenecks, and implement monitoring solutions.
  • Work closely with the team to maintain logical and physical data models with a focus on Oracle.
  • Perform performance tuning of new and existing tables, views, and PL/SQL code.
  • Collaborate in an Agile environment to support development lifecycle and produce technical and functional documentation.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • experience in Oracle database design, analysis, and performance tuning.
  • experience with Oracle database structures and data analysis.
  • experience designing enterprise applications and/or services.
  • experience creating technical and functional design documentation.
  • experience within the software development lifecycle, including Agile methodology (e.g., Scrum).
  • experience with multi-tier system/application development (e.g., SOA, Microservices, 3-Tier applications).

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ year of experience using Jira for project tracking.
  • Oracle Certification is a plus.
  • Experience with data warehouse applications and/or database reporting features.
