Job Title: Oracle DBALocation: Frankfurt, Germany(2 days in a month onsite)Job Type: 12 Months FTC Contract - Direct payroll by the clientJob Description: We are looking for an experienced Oracle DBA (Level 3) with strong expertise in Exadata, RAC, and Performance Tuning to join our team. This role involves managing high-performance, mission-critical databases in a global support environment.Key Responsibilities:Provide production support for large-scale Oracle databases.Manage Oracle 11gR1/R2 RAC environments including build, administration, troubleshooting, and tuning.Administer Clusterware (GRID Infrastructure), ASM, and Dataguard.Perform backup and recovery using RMAN, datapump, and export/import.Maintain databases via Oracle Enterprise Manager Grid Control.Collaborate with development teams for issue analysis and resolution.Work in a 24x7 global support modelQualifications:10–12 years of Oracle DBA experience, with 6+ years on Exadata.Extensive experience with Exadata including RAC, ASM, Dataguard, Infiniband switch, and storage cell.Hands-on expertise in Exadata health checks, migration, resource management, and patching/upgrades.Strong skills in database performance tuning, backup, and recovery.Strong knowledge of SQL, performance tuning, and automation scripting.Experience on Solaris, Linux, AIX with shell scripting.Excellent troubleshooting, analytical, and communication skills.Familiarity with ITIL-based Change/Release Management (ITIL Foundation preferred).Fluent in English language and German is a plusPreferred AttributesAbility to work with offshore vendors and large corporate environments.Strong initiative, ownership, and team collaboration.
