Oracle Database Administrator

Job Title Oracle Database Administrator (Oracle DBA) Need Locals W2 Only Job Summary We are seeking an experienced Oracle DBA to manage, maintain, and optimize Oracle database environments. The ideal candidate will be responsible for database installation, configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery, security, patching, and ensuring high availability of mission-critical Oracle databases. Key Responsibilities Install, configure, upgrade, and maintain Oracle databases (11g/12c/19c/21c/23ai). Monitor database performance and optimize SQL queries, indexes, and system resources. Perform database backup, recovery, and disaster recovery using RMAN and Data Guard. Implement database security, user management, and access controls. Apply Oracle patches, upgrades, and security updates. Manage tablespaces, storage, ASM, and database capacity planning. Troubleshoot database issues, ORA errors, and performance bottlenecks. Support high availability solutions, including RAC and Data Guard. Automate routine DBA tasks using Shell scripting or Python. Collaborate with application, infrastructure, and development teams to ensure database reliability and availability. Required Skills 5+ years of Oracle DBA experience. Strong knowledge of Oracle Database Administration, RMAN, Data Guard, ASM, and RAC. Experience with Oracle performance tuning (AWR, ASH, ADDM). Proficiency in SQL, PL/SQL, and Shell scripting. Experience with Linux/UNIX environments. Familiarity with Oracle Cloud (OCI) is a plus. #J-18808-Ljbffr
