Job Purpose
The primary purpose of this role is to ensure the security, integrity, and access control of all production database systems. The Oracle Database Security Analyst will work in a hybrid environment, combining database administration expertise with strong access control management skills. This position plays a critical role in protecting data assets, implementing robust security controls, and ensuring compliance with organizational and regulatory standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Manage and maintain access control for all production database systems.
- Implement and monitor database security policies, ensuring data confidentiality and integrity.
- Conduct regular audits to detect unauthorized access or potential vulnerabilities.
- Collaborate with database administrators and system engineers to maintain secure configurations.
- Apply best practices for encryption, authentication, and database hardening.
- Participate in incident response processes related to data breaches or security violations.
- Develop and update security documentation, including procedures and compliance reports.
- Support ongoing improvements to database security architecture and automation.
Required Skills & Experience
- Proven experience in database security, administration, or access management.
- Strong understanding of database systems such as Oracle, SQL Server, PostgreSQL, or MySQL.
- Knowledge of security frameworks, encryption methods, and identity management practices.
- Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., GDPR, HIPAA, SOX).
- Proficiency in auditing, monitoring, and incident response related to data protection.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in a hybrid work environment.
