Oracle Db On Windows Os Plano Apply
Position Title: Oracle DB on Windows OS
Location: Plano, TX / Johnston, TX
Salary: $100,000/Annum
Summary: Candidate should have Azure Postgres Knowledge while also being strong on on-prem Oracle DB
Must Have Skills:
Oracle DB(19.0 and above) installation, support and maintenance on Windows OS.
Oracle DB patching on Windows OS.
Experience working with Oracle enterprise manager for DB monitoring & alerting.
Troubleshoot & performance tuning of poorly performing queries, stored procedures, etc.
Design & implementation of backup & recovery using RMAN.
Automate routine database maintenance tasks using PowerShell scripts or OEM.
Capacity planning of DB resources i.e. CPU, memory, storage based on the data growth & changing workloads.
Experience supporting multi TB transactional DB while effectively devising strategies for DB maintenance(backups, statistics, patching).
Good to have:

Working in an agile environment in a scrum or Kanban setup.
Database administration & support of Azure PostgreSQL database.
Automate PostgreSQL DB deployment using tools like flyway from redgate.
Exposure to graphql(hasura) and its usage.
Certified in Azure fundamentals(AZ 900) while working experience within the Azure portal & managing PostgreSQL DB resources.
