Title: Oracle EBS Financial Functional Consultant
Duration: 6 Months

Rate: $60/hr - $70/hr

Position Overview:
- We are seeking a Senior Business Applications Consultant with extensive experience in Oracle Financials (GL/AR/AP/CM/FA) to support our client's financial systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong functional background in Oracle E-Business Suite, focusing on financial modules, and the ability to manage user requirements, process workshops, and configuration tasks. This role will involve both enhancements and support for ongoing issues, as well as collaboration with offshore resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Business Requirements & Documentation: Gather business requirements, document them, and perform fit-gap analysis to assess the alignment between business needs and system functionality.
- System Configuration: Configure Oracle EBS Financial Modules (GL/AR/AP/CM/FA) as per business requirements and ensure optimal use of standard functionality.
- Functional Design & Testing: Develop functional design documents, create test scripts, and support testing activities including conference room pilots and user acceptance testing.
- Workshops & Training: Conduct requirement workshops, design workshops, manage conference room pilots, and lead user testing sessions to ensure alignment with business needs.
- Support & Enhancements: Provide support for minor/major enhancements and resolve issues via tickets. Manage user expectations and ensure timely delivery of solutions.
- Documentation & Compliance: Ensure all documentation meets established content standards and accurately reflects business requirements and technical configurations.
Key Requirements:
- Experience: Minimum of 8 years of Oracle Application Implementation/Support experience, with a strong focus on Oracle EBS Financial Modules (GL/AR/AP/CM/FA).
- Oracle EBS Expertise: Deep functional knowledge of Oracle EBS Financials modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Receivable (AR), Accounts Payable (AP), Cash Management (CM), and Fixed Assets (FA).
- Subledger & Accounting Knowledge: Strong understanding of Subledger Accounting, Multi-Currency/ Revaluation, and EBTax functionalities.
- Optional Skills: Knowledge of Vertex Tax Solutions is a plus.
- Technical Understanding: Solid understanding of Oracle E-Business Suite architecture, administration, and troubleshooting.
- Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication, presentation, and documentation skills.
- Collaborative Mindset: Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment, with the ability to manage expectations and meet deadlines.
