TITLE: ORACLE EBUSINESS SYSTEMS PROGRAMMER
CONTRACT LENGTH: 6 MONTHS, POTENTIAL TO EXTEND
LOCATION: ONSITE 5 DAYS A WEEK IN DOWNTOWN HOUSTON OFFICE. LOCAL TO TX ONLY WITH DL
SCHEDULE: M - TH, 7:30AM - 5:30PM, FRI, 7:30AM - 12:30PM.
INTERVIEW PROCESS: WILL FINALIZE THIS SHORTLY * FINAL ROUND ONSITE INTERVIEW
**EXPERTISE WITH ORACLE APEX, ORACLE WORKFLOW, AND APPROVALS MANAGEMENT ENGINE (AME) IS REQUIRED. NOT JUST IN ONE, BUT ALL THREE.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Provides technical development and support for Oracle eBusiness Systems Modules.
- Collaborates with customers to ascertain system specifications and business/technical requirements to create spec documents that meet their needs.
- Conducts effective user demonstrations and training of the application features.
- Document functional and technical designs, providing clarity on roles and data flow between the systems or within the application modules.
- Responsible for completion of all required Change Management tasks and relevant SOX control requirements (if applicable).
- Utilize industry accepted project management principles, methodologies, tools, and best practices throughout the project life cycle.
- Acquire and utilizes business knowledge by taking advantage of available resources (internet, books, periodicals, classes/workshops, conferences, etc.) to develop and deliver business expertise solutions.
- Tracking deliverable and provide reporting to management as needed.
- Good team player who steps up, shows initiation and shares learning and experience with the team.
The successful candidate will have the following qualifications:
- At least five years of experience programming extensions and customizations in Oracle Finance and/or Oracle Projects using release 12.2+ is required.
- 5+ years of Oracle Apex UI development experience is required.
- Experience programming custom workflows using Oracle Workflow Builder is required.
- Must have experience using and configuring systematic approvals using Approvals Management Engine (AME).
- Experience working in a multi-developer, team environment is preferred.
