Oracle Functional Resource Apply
Project Scope:
The Contractor shall serve as a functional resource for the Procurement & BDD Digitization Initiative (PBDI) project. The resource must possess extensive experience in the configuration, implementation, and support of Oracle Fusion Financials, with a primary focus on the following modules:
- Procurement
- Contracts
- Grants
Roles/Responsibilities:
- Conduct requirement gathering sessions with finance, procurement, and integration stakeholders.
- Assist with reporting requirements using OTBI, BI Publisher, or FRS.
- Translate business requirements into functional specifications.
- Perform system configuration, setup, and testing activities.
- Develop and execute test scripts (Unit, SIT, UAT) and document results.
- Support data migration and validation for financial data.
- Prepare user guides, training materials, and conduct end-user training sessions.
- Provide knowledge transfer to Client's internal support team.
- Document financial data flows and mapping requirements between Oracle Fusion and target systems
- Define integration functional specifications (source-to-target mapping, transformation logic, error handling, reconciliation).
- Validate integration design requirements.
- Support technical teams (integration developers, middleware/ETL) with functional knowledge of Oracle Fusion APIs, data extract tools (FBDI, ADFdi), and reporting frameworks (OTBI, BI Publisher, FRS).
- Perform functional testing of integration workflows (Unit, SIT, UAT) including validation of financial transactions and reconciliations.
- Provide defect analysis and coordinate issue resolution.
- Support data migration activities where applicable.
- Develop training materials and knowledge transfer documents specific to integration processes.
- Coordinate and support Procurement enhancements with the North Highland team.
- Conduct setup approval workflows, configure or update dropdown functionality, trigger email notifications.
Mandatory Skills:
- Oracle Fusion Mastery: Expertise in Financials and Procurement modules for configuration, testing, and integration using APIs, FBDI, and ADFdi.
- Reporting & Analytics: Proficiency in OTBI, BI Publisher, and FRS for requirements gathering, data extraction, and validation.
- Project Delivery: Skilled in stakeholder collaboration, functional specs, test execution (Unit/SIT/UAT), data migration, training, and defect resolution
