About the Role
We are seeking a highly experienced Oracle Cloud ERP Solution Architect (Technical or Techno-Functional) to lead a brand-new, end-to-end implementation migrating from SAP to Oracle Cloud ERP. This is not a standard developer role-this position requires a senior-level architect who can design enterprise-grade solutions, lead integration strategy, and guide functional and technical teams through a multi-phase ERP transformation.
The ideal candidate will have deep expertise in Oracle Cloud Financials and/or SCM modules, extensive experience designing custom integrations and reporting solutions, and the ability to define and architect future-state ERP processes across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
Solution Architecture & Design
- Lead the architecture and solution design for a full SAP Oracle Cloud ERP transformation.
- Define future-state business processes, data models, reporting structures, and integration frameworks.
- Partner with business stakeholders, finance, supply chain, and IT leadership to translate requirements into scalable Oracle Cloud ERP solutions.
- Conduct architectural reviews, fit-gap analysis, and blueprinting sessions to define the end-to-end ERP landscape.
Technical & Techno-Functional Leadership
- Provide senior-level technical direction for Oracle Cloud ERP configurations, extensions, and custom development.
- Serve as the primary architect for RICEW objects-Reports, Integrations, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows.
- Work closely with technical teams to design:
- OIC integrations
- REST/SOAP APIs
- FBDI/ADFdi conversion processes
- Custom reporting (BIP, OTBI, FRS)
- FAH/SLA accounting frameworks (if needed)
- Review and approve technical specifications, data mapping documents, and integration architectures.
Integration Strategy
- Architect and oversee complex integration solutions between Oracle Cloud and internal/external systems including SAP, HRIS, CRM, banking, EPM, supply chain systems, etc.
- Establish integration standards, error-handling models, monitoring, and automated reconciliation processes.
- Lead design of enterprise APIs and OIC orchestrations to support end-to-end business flows.
Implementation Leadership
- Work closely with SI partners and internal teams throughout the lifecycle-requirements, design, build, testing, deployment, and hypercare.
- Provide guidance to Oracle Cloud functional and technical teams to ensure alignment with architectural vision.
- Lead cutover planning discussions and support data migration mapping, validation, and testing.
Reporting & Data Architecture
- Design enterprise reporting solutions across OTBI, BIP, and Oracle Cloud ERP analytics.
- Work with business users to define reporting requirements and build scalable reporting frameworks.
- Lead transformation from SAP reporting structures into Oracle Cloud hierarchies, COA, and financial models.
Governance & Best Practices
- Ensure all solutions follow Oracle Cloud ERP best practices, security policies, and compliance standards.
- Evaluate quarterly updates, new features, and adoption recommendations.
- Support solution governance, architecture reviews, and performance optimization.
Required Skills & Experience
- 10+ years of Oracle ERP experience, including strong Oracle Cloud ERP experience in Financials and/or SCM.
- Hands-on Solution Architect experience supporting enterprise-wide ERP transformations.
- Strong techno-functional background-must understand both technical architecture and functional business processes.
- Extensive experience with OIC (Oracle Integration Cloud), REST/SOAP APIs, and complex integration patterns.
- Strong background in RICEW design and architecture, including custom reports, extensions, conversions, and workflows.
- Experience leading or participating in SAP to Oracle Cloud ERP migrations highly preferred.
- Deep knowledge of FBDI, ADP/Payroll integrations, FAH/SLA (bonus), and enterprise data structures.
- Strong communication skills with ability to lead executive design discussions, whiteboarding, and solution walkthroughs.
Nice-to-Have Skills
- Experience with FAH/SLA accounting models.
- Experience with Oracle EPM integration or data pipelines.
- Prior experience in healthcare, retail, manufacturing, or enterprise-scale companies.
- Oracle Cloud certifications (Integration, Financials, SCM, Architecture).
