Job Overview:

Role Description & Responsibilities

  • The consultant would be part of project delivery and will carry out the below activities:
  • Responsible for understanding existing solution, business requirements and reporting needs.
  • Carry out fitment analysis against the global solution template with an objective to minimize deviations through site specific solutions
  • Configure Oracle R12 Order Management for the new site in line with the global template.
  • Provide guidance & inputs to client business team during data collection & cleansing activities. Work with technical team through various data migration cycles during project execution.
  • Prepare detailed functional design specifications (MD50 & TE40) for any extensions, reports and integrations required for Order Management track. Work with technical development team for delivering them.
  • Will actively participate in creating a cutover plan and executing the cutover activities
  • Work collaboratively with business users to walk-through and validate solution iteratively through various formal and informal testing events.
  • Lead user feedback collection, disposition, and remediation activities as part of solution testing phase.
  • Assist with user adoption through training content creation, imparting training and assistance with organization change management

Required Skills, Experience & Qualities

  • US citizens or green card holders with bachelor's degree and 12+ years related work experience.
  • Strong experience with Order Management function for manufacturing companies with deep knowledge of OM, sourcing and pricing.
  • Knowledge in associated modules like Receivables and Inventory will be an added advantage.
  • Should have delivered at least 2 Oracle R12 implementation projects as an Order Management track leader
  • Should possess excellent analysis skills and the ability to develop processes and methodologies
  • Demonstrated management, analytical, organization, interpersonal, project management, communication skills, and highly developed MS office skills (Word, Excel, Powerpoint) required
  • Ability to engage effectively at the business and technical level, provide exceptional client service, demonstrate commitment to continuous learning to stay current regarding applicable strategies, see the "big picture" as well as the details, display appropriate ethical knowledge and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects
  • Exhibit a sense of urgency and commitment to quality and the timely completion of projects
  • Ability to multitask across many different projects and stakeholders both internal and external
Ability to communicate effectively and work with client resources from lower level to C-suite
