Job Title : Oracle Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) with Automation Expertise
Job Type : W2
Experience: 8-12 years
Location : Mountain View, California
Responsibilities:
- Experience with Oracle technologies, including Oracle Database, EBS Applications, Fusion Middleware, and Exadata.
- Proven SRE experience with strong scripting skills in Python or Shell.
- Familiarity with automation tools and monitoring solutions.
- Experience with OS and network troubleshooting in a multi-tiered environment.
- Proficient in using GitHub for version control and CI/CD processes.
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to document and present complex concepts clearly.
- Experience with cloud environments and services (e.g., AWS, Azure).
- Familiarity with container orchestration technologies (e.g., Kubernetes, Docker).
- Knowledge of ITIL principles and practices.
- Design, implement, and maintain highly available and scalable Oracle database environments.
- Manage and support Oracle EBS applications and Fusion Middleware solutions.
- Utilize Exadata for optimal performance and storage efficiency.
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python or Shell to improve operational efficiency and reliability.
- Implement monitoring solutions to proactively identify issues and maintain service uptime.
- Troubleshoot OS and network issues to ensure seamless application performance.
- Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance deployment processes and application reliability.
- Utilize GitHub for version control and collaboration on automation scripts and infrastructure code.
- Participate in incident management and root cause analysis to continuously improve system reliability and performance.
- Document processes, procedures, and best practices for site reliability and Oracle technologies
Qualification:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
