JOB DESCRIPTION:

Cold Storage Warehouse - Equiptment Order Selector Shift: Swing/2nd (5pm - 1:30am) Location: Gilory As a Warehouse Order Selector, your primary responsibility is to efficiently select cases, bags, and containers of refrigerated foods (meat, dairy, produce) from multi-level rack storage systems. Using a Power Jack or Forklift, you will assemble customer orders, ensuring accuracy and preparing them for shipment. This involves navigating multi-level racks, recording counts, and performing general warehouse duties. This position plays a crucial role in our warehouse operations, contributing to the accuracy and efficiency of order fulfillment. We are seeking individual (s) who prioritize safety, attention to detail, and teamwork. If you meet these qualifications and are ready to contribute to our dynamic team, we encourage you to apply.

salary: $19 - $20 per hour
shift: Second
work hours: 5 PM - 1:30 AM
education: No Degree Required

Responsibilities
  • Review work schedule and gather necessary tools and supplies.
  • Conduct a safety check on Power Jack / Forklift and ensure proper functioning of safety devices.
  • Use equipment to locate and select products according to order sheets or Vox Audio Communication System.
  • Manually place stock items on pallets from various rack levels.
  • Transport completed orders to the shipping dock staging area.
  • Verify count accuracy, document counts, and inspect for damaged products.
  • Hand wrap pallets, label orders, and prepare for shipment.
  • Rotate date-sensitive stock, maintain cleanliness in work areas, and complete necessary documentation.
  • Remove and organize empty pallets, cardboard packing, and strapping.
  • Inspect and stack empty pallets, transporting them to the proper storage area.
  • Rotate between order selection and loading trailers as assigned.
  • Perform general housekeeping duties to keep the warehouse, loading dock, and trailers clean.
General Job Requirements:
  • Proficient in reading, writing, and communicating in English related to the job and safety regulations.
  • Ability to perform all job functions safely and meet company performance standards.
  • Participation in company orientation and training programs.
  • Capacity to follow instructions and work assigned schedules, including required overtime.
Required Personal Protective Equipment:
  • Safety Shoes (steel-toe)
  • Lock-out / Tag-out Awareness Training
  • Safety harness (Platform Lift)
  • Freezer suit / hat / gloves
  • Hearing Protection (optional)
The essential functions of this role include:
  • working in a smoke free environment
  • wearing steel toe shoes
  • manual lifting up to 50lbs
  • working up to 2 hrs of overtime per week
