Job Description
- Skilled Developer with 3 to 5 years of experience with strong expertise in AWS cloud services and Python development, with the ability to design, implement, and optimize scalable solutions.
- Knowledge of Benchling is a plus but not mandatory.
- You will play a key role in building and integrating applications that support our business processes and scientific workflows.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain applications using Python and AWS services (Lambda, S3, EC2, RDS, etc.).
- Implement secure and scalable cloud-based solutions.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate APIs and backend services.
- Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code following best practices.
- Optimize application performance and troubleshoot issues across environments.
- Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement.
- Work closely with stakeholders to understand requirements and deliver solutions.
Required Skills
- 3 5 years of professional experience in software development.
- Strong proficiency in Python programming.
- Hands-on experience with AWS services and cloud architecture.
- Familiarity with RESTful APIs and integration techniques.
- Knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment strategies.
- Good understanding of security best practices in cloud environments.
- Strong problem-solving and communication skills.
Preferred Qualifications
- Knowledge of Benchling platform and its APIs.
- Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Familiarity with Agile development methodologies.
- Experience with version control systems like Git.
- Exposure to data processing or scientific workflows is a plus.
