Bayside Electric Supply Co, Inc. is continuing to grow and we are looking at new/surrounding markets. We are seeking an Outside Sales Representative to join our team as we expand our services throughout the region. In this role, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with new and existing clients within the electrical contractor industry. Your primary goal will be to increase sales and exceed targets through direct interaction with customers, showcasing our extensive range of products, and providing exceptional service.

Responsibilities

  • Identify potential clients in the electrical sector and conduct outreach to establish new relationships
  • Meet with clients on-site to understand their needs and propose tailored solutions
  • Prepare and deliver compelling presentations and product demonstrations
  • Negotiate and close sales
  • Collaborate with the internal team to ensure successful order fulfillment and customer satisfaction
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activities and client interactions
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends and product knowledge to effectively communicate value to customers
  • Attend trade shows and industry events to network and promote the company

Requirements

  • Proven experience as an Outside Sales Representative or in a similar sales role
  • Knowledge of electrical products and industry standards is preferred
  • Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software
  • A valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the region
  • A high school diploma; a degree in business or related field is a plus
